Horologer MING - Watches by MING

Taking Stock of 2023

Since 2020, we’ve done an end of year update, which has been an opportunity to look back on the year that’s been, the things you’ve helped us achieve, the lessons we’ve learnt and also to give you a glimpse of what we have in store for the next.

Year 6 has been no less challenging or interesting than its predecessors - Team MING has expanded to welcome our first representative in North America and our first team member in Switzerland, our featherweight LW.01 made its debut to a very warm reception, we presented our first ever precious metal watch, a new case family in the 29-series, our first ever major industry event and events in 8 cities. Oh, and our book by Jack Forster!

Through all of that, we remain aware and appreciative of the patronage, feedback, and patience that’s enabled us. Thank you.

Those of you who read last year’s wrap up may remember my promise to work on our waiting times for delivery - especially for our accessible watches. I’m proud to say that we managed to reduce wait times for several projects this year with the 37.08 Sand starting deliveries within 2 weeks of launch. The credit goes to the team and our partners but the work isn’t finished yet. We’d like to improve things further in 2024 - perhaps even a couple of releases with watches in stock.

And speaking of our plans for 2024, here’s some things to look forward to:

A minor logistical note to draw things to a close: the team and our partners will be taking a break for Christmas and New Year’s from 23 December 2023 to 7 January 2024.

We will pause shipments during this time and any emails or enquiries will also be taken care of as soon as the team is back.

Until then, happy holidays and best wishes for 2024!
